Our dexter milking cattle are primarily A2/A2 meaning that cow has inherited two copies of the A2 beta-casein gene, meaning it produces milk containing only the A2 form of this protein. This A2 beta-casein is the natural form of the protein found in human breast milk, and milk from the A2/A2 cows are marketed as being easier for some people to digest because it lacks the A1 beta-casein protein, which is produced from a genetic mutation.
There is also strong research supporting that just drinking regular raw or short flash processing also can improve digestion over the milk that is readily available at the grocery stores.
Another great benefit is knowing that your cow has not been treated, feed improperly, given shots to increase yields, nor would be unhealthy when supplying your own dairy products.
